Ellie has been our mascot for nearly 60 years but she had an accident and has been retired.  She was created by Jack Warren and Jim Fox in 1960 and has been used in parades around the state for all these years!  Ellie has carried some very prominent Republicans and kids loved her!  She was stolen by the Democrats at least four times and an airplane was even used to find her once out standing in a corn field. She has been replaced with a new look!
